SentryFace
Biometric gate security for the Indian Army
SentryFace is biometric attendance and access-control software written for a military gate, not adapted from an office product. It is live at an Indian Army unit in Amritsar, Punjab, running on the eSSL face terminals already installed there. At the gate it puts the live capture beside the enrolled photo so the sentry sees who arrived; behind it sit muster and roll call, shifts and registers, a deny list enforced on the terminals themselves, visitor gate passes and signed reports. It runs entirely offline — no internet, no cloud, and every record stays inside the perimeter.
Built for
What's inside
The features that matter to defence & high-security businesses.
Live face at the gate
The capture from the terminal beside the enrolled photo, on a monitor at the post — the sentry sees who arrived, not just that somebody did.
Muster & roll call
Who is inside right now, by unit or section, with a roll call and an evacuation list you can produce on the spot.
Deny list on the machine
A barred man is disabled on the terminals themselves. The machine refuses him and the screen raises a red alarm.
Shifts, rosters & registers
Shift timings with grace, weekly offs and holidays turned into a daily register, a monthly calendar and a full punch log.
Reports that can be signed
Muster roll, movement, late arrivals and unit strength on your letterhead with signature blocks — PDF, Excel or CSV.
Works with no internet
Installed from a pen drive. Units far apart are joined occasionally by a LAN cable. Nothing ever leaves the site.
Frequently asked questions
Everything customers ask before signing up.
Does it need an internet connection?
No. SentryFace was written for sites that have none and want none. Faces, photographs and the attendance register all stay on the computer inside your perimeter.
Which face machines does it work with?
eSSL face terminals, over the protocol they already use. The machines you have are not replaced — they become part of the system.
Can several gates and several units run together?
Yes. Multiple terminals per computer, and units far apart are kept in step by joining them occasionally with a LAN cable. Attendance stays with the unit it happened at.
How is it licensed?
Per computer, with a signed licence file. Nothing phones home to check — the software keeps working whether or not anything can reach us.
